Financial records — transaction entries, amounts, notes, and categories that you add to the app
Business data — business names, book names, and member information you create
Device information — device type and push notification tokens for sending you alerts
Usage data — when you last used the app, to send you relevant reminders

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the Trcka app
To send you push notifications and email reminders about your trcking activity
To allow you to collaborate with team members on shared books
To improve the app based on how it is used
To contact you about important account or service updates

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase infrastructure. Firebase is compliant with major data protection standards including SOC 2 and ISO 27001. Your financial records are private to your account and only visible to members you explicitly invite.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with third parties except:

Google Firebase — for database, authentication, and cloud functions
Resend — for sending transactional emails
When required by law or to protect the rights of our users

5. Push Notifications

If you grant permission, we send push notifications to remind you to log your expenses and income. You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings or within the Trcka app under Settings.

6. Email Communications

We send occasional emails related to your account, app updates, and trcking reminders. You can opt out by contacting us at support@usetrcka.com.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Withdraw consent for notifications or emails at any time
